In all seriousness, you could mount it to a piece of tubing, similar to how you are displaying it, only have the tube coming out of a wall, or a cabinet, etc. Then you can hang your shop apron from it. You will have a conversation piece that way too.

While I don't like the idea of water cups around the equipment, there are times that one is required. To hold water for cooling chisels that are being sharpened is one. Given the necessity, there becomes a need for a secure location for the water.
When not being used to hold water, it is a good place for marking tools.
