Hi:

Post by john »

I am a new member to this forum, why, I can't really say but I am glad to finally be here.

I have had my Shopsmith 510 for many years now and have enjoyed it quite a bit and made hundreds of projects with it. Most are small toys and craft type items but the rocking horse pictured in my avatar is one of my projects.

In addition to the 510, I have the SS band saw and a few other brands for my planer, scroll saw, 4" jointer & belt sander.

I plan on checking in daily as I do on other forums and hope to learn more about work done with Shopsmith tools as I have found it difficult to locate many SS owners on the Canadian sites that I visit.

Happy Woodworking!

Welcome abroad John. It is good to have you with us. You will find that there are many of us who check in regularly. There is a lot of valuable information available here; what is neat is that everyone seems willing to share what they know and what they have experienced.

Some of us even confess to the stupid things that we do.

Hi John and welcome. I've only been on this site for a few months, but I agree with Dusty, there is a lot of valuable and interesting information on here. If you ever have questions, there are a lot of wood workers on here that can explain what you need or tell you where you can find help. I enjoy the site and the wood working.
