My Wife is hard at work using her new tool storage box. This is her latest carving she is working on.

wow, the box is great and your wife's carving skills are really impressive!
Gale's Law: The bigger the woodworking project, the less the mistakes show in any photo taken far enough away to show the entire project!

Wonderful carving in progress, you're a lucky guy to get such a nice project.

I found Mary May's web site, she has a few free carving lesson videos online. I bought a few random carving chisels, quality unknown but made in Japan so maybe not horrid, a couple years ago from an estate sale, with a bunch of lathe chisels. Think I'll try to work through at least her free lessons. I suspect it won't be for me, but one of those things I might as well try since no costs other than some scrap size wood.
