bottom pully came lose and damaged my pully cover on my pro planer. Any one got and extra one? The pulleys seem ok just came lose. Don't seen a reason to purchase the pulleys.

Hey Tom,
A few quick questions and suggestions.
Unfortunately, I don't have a replacement cover or an extra one laying around. Looks like you'll need to get one from the MS or make your own which people have done with wood or acrylic without issue.
Also, I do worry for you that the lower pulley came off...
Did the pulley actually fly off the shaft?
Do you have keys in the shaft key notch for both the upper and lower pulley?
Are the pulleys completely parallel to one another or is there a bit of an angle offset from one another?
Is your motor absolutely 110% secured tightly with the nuts and bolts assembly?
The keys are absolutely essential to keep your pro planer pulleys running perfectly parallel to one another when setup. After having refurbed 3 pro planers now, I have seen some silly things being done to the pulleys. One person had given his son the system and that guy must have been a simpleton because he really did a number on the planer knife cutterhead shaft by first losing the key and then trying to run the darn thing with just forcibly screwing in a set screw into the keyed notch on the shaft which damaged and warped the keyed notch so that you couldn't even insert a replacement key into the notch anymore. I had to hand mill the notch back into fighting shape so I could place the appropriate sized key back into the notch. I got 12" keystock through amazon to replace the lost key and cut one down to size so I could use in the key notch. He had also damaged the upper pulley because I guess he had tried running the pulleys out of parallel using only the setscrew to secure the upper pulley. Anyways, it was a real bear getting that pro planer up and running again. Luckily the table had very minimal pitting in one area that probably was under a drip or something (The shopsmith and accessories were in horrible condition when I went to inspect it).
After that planer was tuned up with newly milled key notch, new cast iron upper pulley, re-sharpened planer knives, and a power-link V-belt, the cuts were true and even. It runs quiet and smooth with minimal vibration.
I just mention this to make sure that you keep everything running true and parallel, especially the two pulleys. They should have zero wobble when running. If you turn them by hand once secured with set screws and you see any off-kilter motion, you should replace that pulley. Make sure the shaft is also not warped (highly unlikely), but make sure as that can add additional instability to the system.
If the lower pulley did come off and destroy the belt guard cover, thank god for the belt guard as it did what it was intended to do.
Also, once everything is parallel and true, drop a little blue loctite on each of the set screws on the pulleys and set it and forget it. Hopefully, once everything is trued up, you won't ever have flying pulleys as an issue.
I know you were looking specifically for a replacement cover, but wanted to dive a little deeper to figure out if there was some deeper reason as to why the pulley came off and destroyed your guard.

Yes the pullys are parallel. I did notice the top pully had a wobble in it. Perhaps I should replace it. Thanks for the input.

Definitely replace the top pulley if there is any discernible wobble when rotating after being secured with the key and set screw.
Cast iron ones are much better and can be purchased via Amazon for less than $10 dollars. Definitely worth it to prevent further pulleys from falling off those fast spinning shafts.
