I thought I would post on this little project because it was a perfect project for the Shopsmith hitting on the drilling and horizontal boring features. This is a replacement bunk bed rail for an old customer of mine. It was probably a Rooms to Go Piece of crap!

Remember you can tighten the set screw and lock your miter gauge to the table.

The rail had a slight radius on the top and bottom that I didn't have a bit that cut a perfect copy so I used a portion of a large round over bit and will modify that later.
