The second arbor as I understand it goes into the drill chuck to mount on the other end like a tail stock mount. Seems like I read that somewhere. In fact now I remember, it was actually attched to the chuck, I had to take it out.

I have no way to attach anything to the shaft that comes out of the motor, so Im still looking for what kind of mount is used. I am looking now, it has been a long day.

The drill chuck(far left) fits onto the quill shaft.

I am guessing the far right thingie does also. What is the thread od on it?(1/2 or 5/8 or ???)

5/8 JPG.

I think the sketches are very good and this is a picture of what I think the sketches are of, well minus that last item which I don't have....

it may not look exactly like the drawing. Guessing it is a tapered shaft the fits into the tail stock and the other end of it fits into the chuck. This way you can drill holes into wood instead from head stock. Like in working on a pepper mill.
