Tips on refurb'ing a Central Machinery 6" Jointer?

Just picked one up and it needs a full tear down, clean up and repainting. Anyone traveled this road before and have some tips/gotchas to look out for? Thanks in advance.

I have NO experience with that Jointer but, as always, go slow. Take notes. Take Pictures.
