Sketchup model of Shopsmith with dimensions for buildin jigs

Has anyone rendered Shopsmith in Sketchup (especially the 520) This would be particularly helpful for designing additional jigs. Even a Sketchup drawing of the rip fence would be a help. I am pretty new to Sketchup but I like that one can take measurements right off the renderings.

In response to my first question the answer is yes. I went to the Sketchup 3D warehouse and found a rendering of the original Mark 5 (though I have the 520) There are also renderings of the 510 rip fence and of the 520 table and a jig. There are no renderings of the 520 rip fence. However, there is a rendering of a clamp, perhaps made of a 2"x 4", with precise measurements for clamping the upper tubular ways. This could be handy.
FYI, Sketchup is a free program (Sketchup.com)that allows you to create shop drawings of furniture, toys and jigs, etc in three dimensions prior to building. You can even create dimensioned parts lists with it. Overall it is intuitive but has a definite learning curve. That learning curve may not be quite as expensive as the learning curve of having made parts that don't fit after you have cut them from expensive plywood.

I'm using Sketchup to re-layout my shop and decide how and where I want to build cabinets, workbenches, miter station, dust collection, etc. -- a model of the 520 with options for bandsaw / jointer / etc would be handy.

I also found the Mark V model 500 drawing in the 3D Warehouse, and I found Dusty's drawings of the 520 table. I may try to integrate Dusty's 520 table drawings, which are very nice, along with the bandsaw which I saw in yet another drawing, back into the original model 500 drawing.

But I thought I would check here and see if anyone already had such a model and just had not posted it to the 3D Warehouse??

I wish I did. I have started that effort several times but those lines that are other than straight stop my progress every time. For a short period of time I had accewss to the Pro version and I got a little bit more done (more advanced). I saved it to a flash drive and brought it home only to find that my free version and the copy on flash were incompatible.

I am tempted to get Sketchup Pro but have not yet done so.

Thanks Dusty -- if you ever do work on this, with the precision and attention to detail that I've seen in many of your other posts, I'm sure they would be well done. For now I suppose I'll make due with the model 500 drawing.

I did reach out to Shopsmith and ask if they had or would make Sketchup drawings for the user community. Haven't heard back from them - but it was only a few hours ago I sent the email.
