According to the serial numbers the gun was made in 1969 , makes the wood in the stock close to if not 100 years old .
Getting the oil out of the wood for the epoxy wold hold was a challenge , it took several hrs soaking and washing in acetone.
The walnut dowels were made using the SS and a home made jig
