Speed dial knob/post question

Post by twistsol »

I have a 510 that I bought used and after throrough cleaning and lubrication, the speed dial turns much more smoothly than it did when I got it. My question is:

Is the knob on the speed dial supposed to spin freely when turning the dial?

Mine sort of turns but it is really stiff.
Thanks much,

Chris Phelps

Mine turns freely. So one of ours is not performing as intended.

Knob post rotating is I think 'era' dependent.
