My belt sander would not keep tracking even. I took it apart and compared to the parts listing in my manual. I discovered the drive roller did not have a sleeve. I ordered the sleeve and stretched it on the roller. As I was reading (after I had already stretched the sleeve)it is glued on at the factory.
Does it have to be glued?
If so, what kind of glue is best to put on the edges as I do not want to stretch it back off!

use contact cement, same as gluing a bandsaw tire
