10ER slide locks

Post by Tener »

Has anyone fabricated the slide lock wedges out of 7/8” steel rod. Or where can I get some for a 10ER ?

You would not want them made out of steel, they would be too hard and damage the way tubes.

The early 10E's had brass wedges, and I believe someone here had some new brass wedges made for their 10ER .

It may also possible to rehabilitate the aluminum ones by filing the angled face flat again.
