Glue question
I’m making another basket and would like to apply the finish before I assemble it. I’ve been told that wood glue won’t work so well due to the finish. My question is what glue will work? The finish is Tung oil. Thanks in advance.
Re: Glue question
Don't finish the spots you'll be gluing.
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders, molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.

Re: Glue question
Agree or maybe brass rivets like they use on leather

Or wood strips and rivets
this is a pretty net idea
