Table binding during alignment

Post by Brian79 »

I have a Mark V. When I follow the video that came with it to align it, the table binds when I try to rotate it 90 degrees into drill press mode, which comes part way through the alignment process. Any suggestions?

I can relieve some of the binding by adjusting the bolts holding on the table, but not enough.

If not, watch this one, be sure to note the dollar bill trick starting at 12:50. :)

What is actually happening is the table tilt locks are fully engaged. The dollar bill trick mentioned in the previous post alleviates that.
