Shaper is now.......

Post by reible »

"Big news for the new year!

ToolTechnic Systems - parent of Festool, SawStop and Tanos - acquired Shaper Tools!

Fantastic to hear this news. Congratulations to the entire Shaper team!

Excited to see the new refinements and innovations that come out of this expanded team!"

Not sure what this means for the tool but it is what it is.

What does that mean other than the prices are likely to increase?

"After more than 10 years at their current pricing, SawStop will increase prices on the majority of their saws, options, and accessories on February 1st."

Saw stop is part of this same group.

I think it will be good for Shaper Origin to have the financial backing of ToolTechnic and really don't expect the price to change any as it is already at high end pricing.
