Weekend Work

Post by bainin »

Experimented with something a few of the low altitude members of my household can make good use of. I think I would forego the screws next time and try some wood slots/joints- but my confidence level isnt quite there yet.

Still need to find out if it will support them =)

The stained parts are plywood (3/4" maybe) , the legs/frame are ripped down 2x4 pine. All hand sanded to 180 grit i think.

Leftover pieces I had in the pile.

I screwed up in assembling it ahead of stain/paint..which became a bear chasing
stain and white paint around the various pieces-but its mostly touched up good enough to stand on now.

Dear wife has been after me to make some for the great-grandkids but I haven't gotton around to it yet, probably never will.

I better not let her see this one or I will hear about it :D
