The first is a doll bed for one of our great-grandaughters. Dear wife made the bedding. The second is a pair of Toy Soldier outdoor decorations for one of our grandsons. The painting was painstakingly done by my dear wife. We have had a similar pair guarding our house for several years at Christmas.

Several more in the pipe: A corner shelving unit for a grandaughter to disply her Christmas village, a lighted snowman for a friend in a seniors' care facility, and three toy vehicles for donation to a toy drive. All about 50% complete. Also outdoor polar bear decorations for a grandaughter and husband but they are not started yet. All due by December 15th.

I guess I better get back to work. :)

The detail on the posts is great - did you turn all that on SS ?

The painting on the soldiers is - I guess I'll have to start training the wife...its certainly a skill level/patience I will never achieve - well done !

Thanks for the comments!

Bainin:
I must confess, the turnings are purchased items. My skills at turning are not up to that quality. :(

Dear wife has taken over painting these projects as she finds I am not as detailed as she is. (nor do I take as long) but who am I to complain. I can work on other projects while she paints.
