I have not logged in here recently but when I did yesterday I found a list of private messages that all contained links to spam sites some of which appeared to be pornographic. Fortunately, I was able to delete all of them without difficulty. I was really surprised to find these within PMs.

I have not logged in here recently but when I did yesterday I found a list of private messages that all contained links to spam sites some of which appeared to be pornographic. Fortunately, I was able to delete all of them without difficulty. I was really surprised to find these within PMs.

The moderators have been quite busy the past few months. Each day the count of spammers filtered out is > 10. Most are banned when presence of cyrillic(russian) characters or porn is detected. Unfortunately that may not show up until a post is entered.

Recently the creation of PM spam activity has occurred. The moderators have no knowledge them unless they receive one or the recipient reports them.

So PLEASE do not merely delete them.

REPORT them.
