Motor/headstock 10E

Post by Jason »

How can I remove the motor and headstock from a 10E. Seemed too heavy to remove both together. Have separated motor from headstock, but old wiring still connected.
Should I cut the wiring?
Then both pieces could be removed more easily...

The headstock is still mounted to slide bars - so not technical :-)

The wiring just goes to the switch in the head stock. Remove the motor mount plate from the head stock. Then you can get your hand inside to hold the switch and remove the switch nut on the outside and pull the switch out.
