SS2000 table saw Blades
I have a SS 2000 in good working order, use it all the time . I need a new blade. Do the current SS table saw blades fit the SS2000?

Re: SS2000 table saw Blades
The Sawsmith Table saws use the same 1-1/4" arbor hole 10" blades as the Mark series tools. It can use non-Shopsmith 10" saw blades with a 5/8" arbor hole the same as the Mark series tools also. It had different Arbors than the Mark V 500 did but the 5/8" Arbor from the Sawsmith is now the 5/8" Saw Blade Arbor (P/N 555608) for the Mark V 505, 510, 520 and Mark 7. The original Sawsmith 1-1/4" Saw Blade Arbor (P/N 555572 or as listed in the manual P/N 517118) is no longer available. Since it has the same blade positioning as the Shopsmith Mark V 505, 510, 520 and Mark 7 the 1-1/4" Saw Blade Arbor (P/N 555130) for it should work as a replacement if needed. The Sawsmith Table Saw Arbors for 1-1/4" and 5/8" arbor hole blades look the same on the outside. Removing the nut shows which one it is.
I should add that, although I would like to someday, I do not or have not owned a Sawsmith Table Saw.

Re: SS2000 table saw Blades
Thank you. I had bought blades in past from shopsmith that worked fine. The arbor is set up for 1.1/4 hole, and both are 10 inch. Only trouble i have with saw, it somestimes kicks out the reset when putting load on motor. I hope sharper blade helps remedy that.

Me too. There was one available locally with the excaliber fence system a while ago. I thought long and hard but I just don't have the room in my 30' X 40' shop (yeh I know). I bought an almost new stand alone pin router (latest version) a few years ago and I don't have a place for that yet.chapmanruss wrote:The Sawsmith Table saws use the same 1-1/4" arbor hole 10" blades as the Mark series tools. Simple solution. Just build an extension on that tiny shop.jsburger wrote:Me too. There was one available locally with the excaliber fence system a while ago. You just need a bigger shoe horn.jsburger wrote:
