Window grids
Has anyone ever made grids for a window. We are getting replacement windows and I’m considering making the grid work for them. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: Window grids
The new style windows come with the grids sandwiched between the panes of glass. I can not see any way of attaching grids to the windows.

Re: Window grids
The grids have a sliding pin on the ends that keep them in place on the inside.

Re: Window grids
I would get the mullions for the outside with the windows you are buying . ( much more solid ) Also looks better on older home..Than you can take your time on the inside. The ones for the inside are pressed on with a medal clip to ade in cleaning. The windows that fold in are also good for cleaning. But don't allways work very long. Make sure your guaranteed covers them working for more than a year.. Good luck on your purchase. I purchased Renewal By Anderson $$$ And after a few years very hard to get to relese to clean. But live in a very old home settle .. dow indy

Re: Window grids
Late to the discussion, but I would secure the vertical members by a very small(< 1/8") pin and hole at the bottom and a small screw through the top into the grid. Horizontal grids attached to vertical ones and the ends simply float.
I am assuming wood sashes.
