Shopsmith use to publish a catalog with detailed parts lists and prices.
I don't think that exists anymore and if it does I can't find it.
But what I am really looking for are today's prices for two Mark V legs, two way Tubes, two bench tubes and a 510/520 motor pan.
These are the parts I need to build another 510/520 using my existing stock pile of spare parts. I am about to get out of this business and turn the equipment over to grand kids but I only have two machines for three kids. I thought I had no problem until I became aware that a grand daughter is more interested than the boys.

If you go to Shopsmith's main page of their site and go to "support' and "online manuals". From there you can select "MKV standard parts list".
https://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/pro ... 0_1_14.pdf Browse that list for the parts you need and take those part numbers to the "search" box on the main page. That will give you the availability and price for that item.

Thank you. I knew it had to be there. What I did not realize was that downloads a PDF. I don't recall that happening before. Anyhow, it works and shows me what I was looking for.garys wrote: Mon Sep 06, 2021 4:10 pm If you go to Shopsmith's main page of their site and go to "support' and "online manuals". Again I thank you guys. I was finding all those but ignored the fact that they come up as PDF. I now have a long list of PDFs that have completed download.chapmanruss wrote: Mon Sep 06, 2021 9:35 pm Dusty,

Re: Help Me Please - to find the asking price for parts
I have all the manuals for my Shopsmith so usually I look there first to get the part number. Then I search for that number on the site to see if it is still good and still available.
Somehow we all manage to find the parts we need if we are determined enough.

Yes we do. I have a Shopsmith expenditure file that proves that.garys wrote: Tue Sep 07, 2021 7:56 am I have all the manuals for my Shopsmith so usually I look there first to get the part number. Then I search for that number on the site to see if it is still good and still available.

Sometimes though having a part number doesn't solve all of the problems. If you don't really know what it is, having an illustration of some type would help

Dusty, you last said,
That is exactly why I like referring to the parts diagrams. A big help in identifying the correct part sometimes when an assembly has two very similar parts.Sometimes though having a part number doesn't solve all of the problems.
