Will the base assemblies from this Greenie work on a 1980s Mark V?
I have enough parts to make another Shopsmith except for one of my castings is broken.
The Greenie Bench (lower) tubes are a larger diameter, so the castings are different. So, Yes*. They will work if you also use the bench tubes. Or depending on which casting is broken.

The significant greenie differences include the bench tubes being 1 7/8 rather than 1 3/4. The base(end) castings differ so as to accomodate the larger tubes. By using a small spacer with 1 3/4 tubes the c-c spacing can be maintained if necessary(not all that important imo).
The way tubes etc. are the same all the way to the M7.

It is the Jointer-Shaper Fence for the Model 10E and 10ER that replaces the Table Insert when using it. The downside on this one is the missing clamp, washer and wing nut that holds it to the Table. In the first picture the left side set is there but the right side set is not.

Mark V completely upgraded to Mark 7
Mark V 520
All SPT's & 2 Power Stations
Model 10ER S/N R64000 first one I restored on bench w/ metal ends & retractable casters.
Has Speed Changer, 4E Jointer, Jig Saw with lamp, a complete set of original accessories & much more.
Model 10E's S/N's 1076 & 1077 oldest ones I have restored. Mark 2 S/N 85959 restored. Others to be restored.
The missing clamp should be fairly easy to make and the wingnut is replacable(albeit of lesser substance).
A jointer cutter would be a nice addition.
