I also watch videos by a carpenter in Japan who has two channels: one is "Shoyan" and the other is "Shoyan Japanese Carpenter". Sometimes the videos have narration in English. This guy is truly a master of the trade.

I hated seeing all that beautiful precision hand-jointed framing get hidden behind ceilings and plaster walls!

This is a great video! It was interesting to learn something new, especially since I may need it to build my own house. I won't make it with my own hands, but I will tell designers about my home plans so that they know exactly what kind of design I need. I also want to find online as many different designs in the Japanese style as possible so that they also start from these references, and together, we made some chic designs. I have been a fan of Japanese culture for a very long time, and it would be cool to be closer to the culture of the country I admire in this way.
