Paw print stamp arrived. Pretty much what I expected.

I think my ink pad is a little dry?? Anyway I'm not sure if I want it really dark, it might be good as is.

I got a can of spray to try over the ink. The ink is water based so I stayed clear of a water based spray. If it warms up enough next week that I can work outside I will give it a try.

Not to throw cold water on artistry, but if I saw paw prints on a bench, I would sit somewhere else. Who knows what that dog has stepped in?

Any color other than brown might be OK...

I like the rough looking prints in the last picture, more realistic of actual dog prints. Although Steve mentions a good point about making them too realistic it would hardly deter me from doing that.
