520 Table Storage

Post by rlkeeney »

I have been using these tool holders for all sorts of things for years. I purchased the first ones to hang garden tools, but soon found other uses for them. They are perfect for hanging my Shopsmith tables.

They are also great for hanging all but the smallest clamps. I can get up to 24 F-Clamps on one hook.

They have these at Lowe's and Home Depot. Currently, they cost about $8. The last ones I bought were $5 about 2 years ago.

Robert,

I like your use of something easily found as a storage solution.

I'm always jealous when seeing those rows of clamps lined up on a wall. Even if I had all the clamps I ever purchased I'd still be short of that display. Or maybe not, but I'd like to understand why clamps disappear.

I have not yet had any clamps disappear. I have had some failures in one way or another.

I keep thinking I have more clamps than I need and then one day I'll have a project where I run out of clamps of one size or another.
