OK, that's too funny. Every way works *except* for right side up (!)
I guess that's enough time spent on this for today, lol

Re: Magna Headstock Service
hkp7fan,
Your Owner's Manual is the 4th edition and your Mark 5 serial number 309273 was made in October 1955 shortly before the change to the "B" Headstock. On page 31 of your Owner's Manual is the Maintenance and Lubrication section. The early Owner's Manual did not cover lubricating the movable Sheaves on the Idler Shaft Assembly and the Motor Shaft. This is one of the most important maintenance items to do. Unfortunately, it was not included in the Owner's Manual on page 31 in the Maintenance and Lubrication section until the 6th edition.
If there is a broken mounting post(s) on the back of the Name Plate, it can be replaced by either the "A" or "B" Headstock version. If using the "B" Headstock Name Plate just remove the clip that holds it in place or you could add an inspection hole to make servicing easier as already asked about.

The easy way to have photos post correctly is to always take them with your phone in landscape mode.
