Military Exchanges and Home Depot

Post by jsburger »

This is for you Veterans that are eligible to shop at the Military Exchanges. The Exchanges are partnering with Home Depot for the sale, delivering and installation of major home appliances. The discount has not been announced yet but the sales will be tax free just as sales in the Exchanges are.

Thanks for the heads up John. I wonder if this ordering method will take weeks to get something in that is in stock at the local HD or if it will be almost the same as going to HD and getting it delivered.

Well, the press release says that is one of the reasons they partnered with Home Depot, to reduce delivery times. So I guess time will tell.

Interesting, but not really useful here. I don't have a Home Depot near me. My local one went bankrupt and closed their doors a few years back. They couldn't find English speaking help to work in the store.
