Happy New Year to all.

It is starting out with a bang here. We are having a major state wide snow storm today. December was very wet and January promises to keep it up. The mountains are forecasted to get one to two feet of snow today. The Cottonwood Canyons (Big and Little) just east of Salt Lake where most of the ski areas are are forecasted to get four to five feet of snow. The snow pack every where in the state is well over 100% and many areas are as much as 170% of average. If this keeps up it will really help the drought.
