Losts tenon jig plans

Post by hfmann »

Not sure if this the right section, but I'll try here first....

Built this jig years ago, but can't find the plans. I wasn't very precise back and want to rebuild it. I didn't design it for sure. I really love the features, especially the microadjust. Anybody know where this came from? Thanks,

Nope!

I can think of a few improvements.

"micro adjust" 5/16-16"?

Possibly ShopNotes. It looks like the one in issue 6 November 1992. They also have a few in other issues.

I think the micro adjust is 1/4 - 20 - but not sure. Guess I better measure it.

Thanks Brenda.

Glad I could help. I thought I had seen it somewhere before. I have the archive on disk and was looking through it at the different tenoning jigs. I was looking at building one for me and maybe one for my son. I had marked a few that I wanted to look at again to see if I could combined or modify different features into one jig. But I ended up finding a used SS one locally.

Hey Brenda,

I'm glad it wasn't too tedious for you to find. I do appreciate it.

Thanks for posting the link. I was looking at buying the thumb drive with the issues.
