I thought you might enjoy this one which shows discontinued items. Most are from the Shopsmith Model 10's. The Motor Pulley Guard P/N 12 373 is the one John Burger has and the Undertable Saw Guard P/N 12 370 is the one I have. Not commonly found in catalogs from back then and hard to find.

Magna-Line Pulley Guard

Been searching for one of these for quite some time for my vintage Magna-Line dual stand restoration. The vintage version is very similar to the modern equivalent (very common on eBay), but also features the word “Magna” in that vintage script font.

This one will be getting a cleanup and paint job before being added to the stand.

Sawsmith 9” Sanding Disc

Here’s one you don’t see every day! I picked up a Yuba (Goldie) Sawsmith today after winning it in an online estate auction (winning bid, $4…). It was a long trip for what turned out to be a pretty rough condition RAS, but the accessories made it more than worthwhile!

I had seen mention of these smaller sanding discs in some vintage price lists, but have never seen one - let alone an unused example in its original box. There are a few more goodies that I’ll share in a later post…

Been searching for one of these for quite some time for my vintage Magna-Line dual stand restoration. The vintage version is very similar to the modern equivalent (very common on eBay), but also features the word “Magna” in that vintage script font.

Any idea how well those tools sold? The pulley stacks indicate that speed changes were done with belts but might have been less noisy than the Power Station. It could look attractive to someone who just wanted to use SPTs and didn't need table saw of drill press functions. Any idea how long those SPT mounting bases have been around? Do the ones on your stand have Magna emblems?

Mine is one of the original Magna-Line stands, and those were first offered around 1956/1957. The SPTs are also vintage Greenie-era items, so do have Magna emblems.

This is still a work in progress - motor still missing, and pulleys and belts to be added. I’m probably going to add some pegboard to match the original accessory panels.

The second item is a third one of the Dealer's Confidential Information books I now have. In the picture below it is the one on the left and the earliest one I have. You will notice from left to right they come from Magna Engineering Corporation, Magna Power Tool Corporation and Shopsmith Inc.

Yuba Sawsmith Dealer Binder

Here’s yet another dealer binder - not in the nice 3-ring, hardcover format that the Magna-era info was in - but pretty good information just the same. I haven’t had the chance to give it a good looking over (came with my Sawsmith auction purchase last week), but should have a chance to scan the contents sometime soon…

For the 300th Post, I Present
The Shopsmith Trade Mark

So, thanks to all of you who have contributed, commented, or simply viewed the items featured in this thread. This is the 300th post to the thread - far exceeding my expectations from when I started it - and I’m offering something simple today: the humble Shopsmith trade mark logo.

In this case, it’s in an interesting format, however. If you were an independent hardware dealer selling Magna products back in the day, you might want to attract pedestrian traffic into the store, and this is a window decal you’d apply to the inside of your storefront window to pull in those potential buyers. Just like those decals we’d apply to plastic models as a kid - soak ‘em in water and slide ‘em into place!

EDIT: by the way, this decal would likely be dated from the late 1940s, as it shows the 10E-era Shopsmith logo containing the words “REG. TRADE MARK”. Around 1950, the logo was modified with the circled “R” to represent the status of the registered trademark.
