Quite a few missing pics on the new Shopsmith website. Did they officially announce that the new website is live, or is it still supposed to be "under development"?

What I find disconcerting is no link to this forum.

However it is linked to if you search "forum" and scroll down to the screen below.

That refers me back to the "Learning" topic where bit is indeed there!!!

EDIT: If you select Mark 4 you get this:

So still a work in progress. There needs to be a similar thing under Mark V and there needs to be a placeholder for the conventional headstock in addition to the PowerPro
Under Parts, the Mark 7 portion seems fairly complete and working. Until the other products are working, some of the information can be found there. As long as you know which parts are the same between your model and the M7...

On a positive note regarding the service parts, the diagram and parts list are now on the same page. I like that, I often had both pages open while searching in the past.

On the old site it was maddening when I'd get a sales email showing such and such part number on sale, and I'd click it only to be taken to a page with the part number, a vague description, and the price. There was no direct link to actually SEE the part to see if it was what I thought it was. Glad they've improved on that!

You would think for that price they could throw in the Down Crank cause they know you're going to need both! ;)

Don't get cranky.

(Replying to myself)

Someone on FB posted this, but I don't see how to navigate to it from the main page https://www.shopsmith.com/service-parts ... 0-505-500/

Clicking "smart motor" takes you to a page called "conventional smart motor service parts". To me "conventional smart motor" is an oxymoron. But I guess that's what Nick wants....
