Ed in Tampa Similar story, when we first moved into the Tampa Bay Area there was a huge billboard advertising funeral services. They listed the service and price. Example Regular funeral $2000 Regular funeral with premiere casket $3000 Simple cremation regular urn $795 Cremation with premier urn $1500 Cremation with burial at sea $2500 SHIPPING $295 Every time we went pass this billboard I would tell my wife when she died I was going to ship her, because that was the cheapest on the list. She always wanted to know where I would ship her. Told Her it didn't matter I would just say ship her and let them decide where. :D Above prices I am sure have changed by now.

JPG The 'fact' that even though one actually 'did something' they are not necessarily 'guilty' from a legal perspective. A good example is O.J.. Not guilty criminally, but culpable civilly. Make no reasonable sense to me. Two sets of 'rules'. What other legal system? One devoid of special 'interests'. Good luck finding it. Just because 'ours' is preferable to some others, does not make it most desirable, but rather the lesser of the evils. Maybe we need to 'start over', but where do we get GW,TJ, et al.

Our next chance to begin fixing it happens in about two months.
davebodner If you're complaining about the adversarial nature of the US criminal justice system, you'll have to go back several centuries to find the culprits. There's nothing new here.
jsburger I had a picture but I can't find it. About 10 years ago my wife and I were driving on US40 north of Heber City UT. It is a rural area. There was a sign on the side of the road that said "Deer Crossing Test Area". I did a U turn to go back and take a picture. I have always wondered how or if they got the deer to test the crossing.
