Very old shopsmith

Very old shopsmith
I have a shopsmith that has been around my dad's barn for as long as I can remember. The nameplate says E-3099. Can someone tell me how old this is? Is this, or any of the parts worth anything?

The stamp on the nameplate indicates a Model 10E from about 1948. Value is going to be based on what original and add-on accessories the machine has, and of course condition!
Lots of great info can be found here on what accessories would have been part of the original machine, and those that may have been added over the years (but please do post some pictures, and we can offer better insight):

Re: Very old shopsmith
As John said serial number E-3099 would be from 1948 and is a Model 10E made in the Eastern Plant. It should look very similar to the 1947 Model 10E shown in the picture below.
_ .
This one has all the accessories shown that originally came with a Model 10E except a 5/8" Arbor plus it is on a bench (not included with the tool at purchase) that has the Metal Bench Ends and Retractable Casters that came out later. Pictures of your Shopsmith and accessories will help us better identify what you have.
Shopsmith Model 10's, even considering their age, are still very good woodworking tools. To date I have restored 9 Model 10E tools (including the one above) and 15 Model 10ER tools as a hobby and have resold 21 of them. I have kept the other 3. These are very well-built tools that with care seem to last forever. As John has already said
