That's excellent. I use fence extenders for large workpieces and agree with his comments on added control. My extenders are a pair of 510 fence extrusions mounted to the face of my 520 fence with countersunk screws and SS T-Nuts. The 5" height of the Bow Xtender isn't for me, it would not be compatible with JessEm TS Stock guides.
As a possible alternative, especially for 510, I'd suggest considering the Peachtree Uni Style fence: (

IIUC this fence is compatible with the JessEm Stock Guides and could potentially add that upgrade for the 510 and earlier community. This would also fit the 500, but I'd think that the total thickness of the fence would be objectionable. Full disclosure: This is something I think would work well, not something I've actually tried myself.
