I tried to make an order yesterday and my card when to Fraud mode.

Mostly because My Bank is Over Cautious, which is a good thing.

I made a call when I got home. ;)

I did not realize they are on EST.

I am in no hurry for the parts, and I am sure this is a Huge Transition for the Company.

That makes sense cause I thought they are in a direct line North of me as (The Crow Flies).

Well , This little stumbling block saved me $20. oo bucks.

I got the bank stuff straightened out.

Then got an E-mail today with a discount code.

So my order is in and got 20 bucks off.

I noticed they are really working on improving the website.

I have noticed changes plus I am getting better at navigating thru it.

You would have to move almost to Bristol to get directly south from Dayton.

BTW almost ALL of Indiana is currently EDT and IS directly north of CDT portion of TN.

Thanks for the comments. I mentioned it to our web developers and since it was easy, they moved wish list capability to their top of the list and enabled it. Just click on the heart icon to add items to your wish list.

They will also check on the issue with duck duck go browser.

First, there seems to be a compatibility issue with viewing the exploded parts diagrams using the duck duck go browser. The illustrated parts diagram appears blurry and grayed out when using duck duck go browser. When I use Chrome the diagrams appear correctly.

Second, I'd like to see the addition of a "Wish List" feature where you could place items that you're not going to purchase immediately. This would allow you to find items without searching for them again when you were ready to purchase.

Just my 2 cents worth. Not sure anybody is there to listen. Maybe there should also be a link to the webmaster/administrator where customers could submit problems or recommendations.

Tried to use the new site to view an order I had pending before the new site was released. My account was not recognized? Old passport did not work. Tried to change my password and the message came back that my account did not exist! Created a new account with the same name as my old one. No history! Emailed info@shopsmith.com asking for help getting my account back up and running. No response and not sure where my order from early August is!

It appears as though there has been a lot of time and effort expended. That is about all I can say. I am disappointed. As a long time Shopsmith user - I am disappointed.

I am beginning to think I prefer the confusion that reigned after the old timers left CS
