New Member Introduction – Excited to Join the Shopsmith Community!
Hello everyone,
I'm excited to be a part of the Shopsmith forum! I’ve been working with woodworking tools for a while now, and Shopsmith has always caught my attention for its versatility and quality. I’m here to learn from all the seasoned woodworkers and hobbyists in this community and to share some of my own projects as well.
I’m particularly interested in tips for maintaining and getting the most out of my Shopsmith tools. I’d love to hear from others about their experiences, tricks, and even project ideas!
Looking forward to connecting with you all and contributing to the discussions!
Best,

Welcome,
I'm kinda old and new, I posted about 3 years ago, when my late wife held the debit card to my head and told me to order the MK 7 for my birthday,
or she would do it for me. I since sold the old mark 5 I had, dealt with my parents death, moved to a new state, and then my
wife's cancer returned and she passed. I decided now is the time, and pulled the MK 7 Gen 1 out of the back of the shop and
finished assembly, I maybe have about 20 min use on it. But I'm ready to get back into things. I'm not new to this but I
also have done many projects over the years the hard way.
Thanks, Y'all
