Hello, just picked up an old Shopsmith scrollsaw model 555272
on a stand (to add to my collection of Shopsmith tools, I guess). I have been searching for an owners manual, without any luck. Wondering if anyone would have a copy of one I could purchase. P.S. Is there any way to restore links that are now broken? I do see broken links to owners manuals and other links that look helpful.

Re: Scrollsaw #555272
davepk13,
I have a PDF I came across somewhere, but I don't recall where. It is too large (at 69.1 MB) to link here or even send in an email. That one covers both the Mark Mount and Stand Mounted gray Scroll Saws printed in 1988. I have the same printed Manual for my Mark Mount Scroll Saw. Unfortunately, the Scroll Saw Manual is not currently listed here on the Shopsmith website. Do check the Manuals list under the heading Learn and Manuals and Instructions from time to time to see if it gets added. Since the change in the Shopsmith website that list of available manuals has been growing to become more complete to what they had previously. At the same time many of the Manual and Instructions are now available to download for free.
With the changes on the website over the years many older links in posts no longer work. The information they linked to may no longer exist or no longer exist in the original location. The only way I know of the make a link in a post work again is for the person who originally posted it to edit their post with an updated link if one actually exists now.
Sorry I am not much help but if you have specific questions I can try to answer them. That may include posting a page from the manual to help explain something.

Thanks Russ, I have and will continue to check the manuals list on the Shopsmith website. I also realize that the previously linked information may not exist, but I thought I would try. Hoping that someone here may have a copy or be able to help me find one. Thanks again,
Dave
