Hi, bullfeathers - Um - Oscar! Welcome to the Forum!
As a Korean war vet, myself - I really appreciate your service and sacrifice! I was here while you were over there - mine was all easy service, in the Artillery School at Ft. Sill, but really do appreciate your service! Thanks, a LOT!
Anyway, when you get your quadrant - just give a holler! I've replaced mine and feel real comfortable with the job.
Sticky Sheave Question

End of story
I want to thank you all for the help. I ended up changing the control sheave. The new one works very well and the SS changes speeds very smoothly.
I learned alot with this problem. I have pretty much completely disassembled the head and put it back together again. Now I would be ready to tackle about any repair (with a little help from you guys).
