Mark 5 PowerPro For Sale

Our seniors workshop group started with the Mark 5 PowerPro some 15 or more years ago. It has been great to have.

Over the years we have bought all the individual tools that the Mark 5 provided and now wish to sell it.

It is located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Any reasonable offer will be discussed with the group.

Maine is too close to the Arctic Circle for me so Ottawa is out of the question.

However, some idea of what you consider a reasonable offer might help find a buyer. The current price of a Mark 7 is $5,249. I don't know what the Canadian market for used Shopsmiths is like. IMO, even in the best of condition it might go for half that price or less around here.

I would think $2,500 Cdn might be good. We upgraded the PowerPro head to the latest unit a few years ago.

That's only $1,775 USD right now. Anyone close enough to the border that can hide a Mark 7 under some meat-free groceries can get an excellent deal.

Can't bring meat across the border, other groceries are ok. They must have some highly trained meat sniffing dogs to check the cars. Or maybe ordinary dogs.

We are just now starting to look at rearranging our workshop. The unit was looked at and identified as a Mark V Model: 555160 and is still available.
