Toolbox

Post by JoeSark »

Last week, while helping a friend on his remodeling project, I finally got fed up with stuffing tools into 5 gallon buckets and then realizing that I had forgotten 1 or 2 tools back at the shop. I have a really nice toolbox that I made for the jobsite, but until now, nothing for home.

Wow, I love the toolbox and the curved handle. Great job. Where did the work table come from?

Very nice-looking Toolbox.

How is the handle attached to the box?
Does the handle just slide thru the square hole?

I like the table also.

The handle does just extend through the sides, and I added a couple of trim head screws through the edge of the sides for added strength. I built the workbench about 4 years ago, and still intend to add a tail vise to it. All in good time...

Very nice and specific to your tools. Always wanted to make one but the weight of the tools plus the wood weight, I worry about it being too heavy. I use a systainer now.
