Re: New owner of an older machine.
Yes sir.
Where can I get one of those oilers with the long tip?
Jacob Anderson doesn't seem to be in business anymore and he had them.
I want to be sure that everyone knows how much I appreciate their patient help.

Re: New owner of an older machine.
For the oiler with the longer spout extension, I use the Zoom Spout Oiler shown below. The red cap is on the tube that extends out of the oiler spout giving it a better reach.

Re: New owner of an older machine.
Thank you.
I found a thing with sewing machine oil with a long spot for $7.
I saw the Zoom oiler.
Maybe I'll go back and get that

Sewing machine oil is another lightweight oil which would work fine just like 3 in 1 oil or the Zoom Spout Oiler. In the Help Kit Shopsmith sells they include a pocket oiler.

Re: New owner of an older machine.
Finally getting back to clean up.
Is there a picture, list or something that shows everything that comes (or came) with the Mark V such as chucks and stuff to actually use the machine?
I saw a picture somewhere but can't remember where.
Thanks for any guidance you can give.

Re: New owner of an older machine.
The manual page John posted pretty much shows what came with a new from the factory Mark 5/V 500. Add to that the Manual, Self-Study Guide and the book Power Tool Woodworking for Everyone. Everything needed to do the 5 functions of the Table Saw, Disk Sander, Drill Press, Horizontal Boring Machine (drill bits not included) and Lathe with the exception of Lathe Chisels when delivered.
A lot of buyers added an extra Starter Accessories Package that included the 5 common Lathe Chisels, set of 5 Brad Point Drill Bits, Retractable Casters and other items. A 1982 copy of that list is below.

The Self-Study Guide and the book Power Tool Woodworking for Everyone wasn't always included.
See the 1955 packing list below for a comparison to the manual page John posted. The part number listed are ones prior to all part numbers being changed in 1964.

Re: New owner of an older machine.
Thanks for the additional info, Russ.
My father-in-law must have gotten the extra package because I've located all except the apron.
I'm pretty close to getting started.
I do have some more maintenance like cleaning and waxing but I think I can do some of that in between fooling around.
