Just build a couple of chairs using western red cedar and want to put a finish (waterproof/resistant) and am thinking of using boiled linseed oil with turpentine.
I’d like to spray several coats, allowing it between the slats and hopefully making applying it easier. Haven’t sprayed since high school and I know spray technology has changed.
Will this work? Any other suggestions, ideas tips etc? What should I use HVLP, electric (Wagner), or something else?
