Your right on the "classic" resolutions. I thought that a majority would fall into those categories. We'll see after enough people poll.reible wrote:Hi,
Looks like a list of "classic" resolutions.
Mine is 1680 by 1050 or rotated 1050 by 1680. The monitor is a 22" "wide screen".
Any reason you just don't make the image the size of your screen and then use it that way?

I am surprised at the higher resolutions some are running. Biggest complaint I've heard about the higher resolutions is that things seem "so small" on the screen (i.e.icons, text etc.)

I'm not sure I understand your question so let me know if I'm not addressing it. I can't make the image the size of the screen because the size of the screen is dependent on what the monitor resolution is set at. If my screen resolution was 800 by 600, an 800 by 600 picture (the max we can upload on this forum) would fill the screen but if that same image was viewed by someone with their screen resolution at say 1600 by 1200, that same image would only take up HALF of their screen. Agree?reible wrote:Hi,

yes and ???. I just placed the two top images, each 550(wide) x 400(tall) resulting in the right edge being 2x550=1100 pixels away from the left side of the screen. This just barely fit on my screen since my monitor resolution is set at 1152 (pixels wide) x 864 (pixels high).JPG40504 wrote:Did you post(attach) these at 550 x 400? How did you locate the right side?

Dusty - You had it. Now it's gone. Not only is whatever had gone, but when I clicked on "Quote" to reply to your message, your "Quote" text didn't appear. Are you messing with the "bowels" of the programing for this forum??
