Acquisition Update

Post by mbcabinetmaker »

Here are pictures of some of the new goodies. I am still deciding how to best use some and will sell the rest.

Speaking of pictures why do some of mine turn sideways? I rotated it in the photo studio but it still came out wrong.

Thanks
Mark

Mark,

Sell.... I think I have heard that word somewhere before.
Seriously, think long and hard before parting with any of that as you will likely pay a lot more should you decide to replace any of these items down the road.

Then again I am a bit of a pack rat...

Mark,
If you open those pictures that you previously rotated, do they show still rotated as you want them? There is no technical reason why you would be having that problem.

This forum does not like 600 x 800(portrait). It only likes 800 x 600(landscape). I do not know how you got it uploaded unless it was rotated to 800 x 600 from 600 x 800.

P.S. Did you save it AFTER rotating it and upload it from the 'saved/rotated' file?

I am thinking along the same lines as Troy: Do knot sell them (yet).

Unless you have equipment not shown in these photos, I can not imagine why you would want to sell any of it.

The items in the photos (Mark V, Jointer, Band Saw, Surface Planer and Power Station) constitute the major parts of a very nice shop.

I know what you mean I have a garage full of SS and still do not have the two big items you are talking about letting go. None come up close to hear at all.
I cannot imagine turning loose of any of it.
Of course my car sets under the carport because of that.

Pictures/Equipment

Post by mbcabinetmaker »

Mike yes they are rotated to the correct position when I open up my photos. I can't figure it out.

Everyone else:

I would love to keep it all but my 2500 sq foot shop is overflowing. My intension's were to keep the powerstation and the band saw. Now after reading a post by Bill Mayo I am leaning toward keeping the Mark 5 instead of the powerstation and making a stretch mini out of it. I don't need the planer, dust collector, or jointer as I have a shop full of stand alone equipment (But I do enjoy the versatility of my 520)and I need a little room to work:p :D .

The image that is rotated has the orientation set to top right. Whatever you used to rotate it didn't reset that to top left.

This image has it set to top left:
