New Shopsmith Catalog

Post by paulmcohen »

Has anyone tried to view the new Shopsmith catalog on-line. I can't find a link that actually gets me the catalog.

Access was the same for me! Does this work for you, Paul? http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/index.htm

Here is the "Home Page" http://www.shopsmith.com/

Yes I can get to both the Shopsmith site and the owners site but not the new catalog the link takes me to the generic Accessory Catalog - Product Index.

Sorry! Just don't understand the problem. The owners sit takes you to;
A) The Father's Day Sale Catalog
B) The latest Accessory Catalog (2006)
C) The Replacement Parts Catalog

Each Catalog on line takes you to a list. Click on an item in the first two (A & B above) and you get a picture with the item.

I'm C) you get a listing of all the parts that make up the item.

What more would you want?

The Father's Day sale link takes me to the same place http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/catalog/productindex.htm as the latest Accessory Catalog (2006)

Fathers Day Sale

Post by admin »

The Fathers Day Sale is 10% off pretty much everything we sell, with some exceptions. Because nearly everything is discounted we just update the pricing across the board to reflect the pricing on the website, and make the announcement that the sale has started. The link to the product listing is the correct link.

With more limited promotions such as the Upgrade Sale and the Spring Project Days Sale we create a separate online sale for them, with their own set of web-pages, this may be the cause of the confusion.

We will be posting a version of the printed catalog that you can download as it becomes available.

Maybe its too new for new.

I noticed a couple of new items don't show if you click directly on the "New Products" link in the left hand frame on the "Product Index Page."

However, if you click on the "New Products" link in the right hand column under the "Product Index" heading on the exact same page you do get a listing that includes the Kreg Bandsaw Rip Fence and the Incra Miter Express.

There might be other differences, but I haven't had enough coffee yet this morning.

More detail

The url for the page I was starting on was: /productindex.htm
http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/cata ... tindex.htm

The url for where I ended up with the short list of new products was: /newproducts.htm
http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/cata ... oducts.htm

The url for the long list was: /productindex.htm#newproducts
http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/cata ... ewproducts
