I have been very busy this week. The flex moldings that I had ordered finally came in. The two radius pieces went OK but the elliptical was a major PAIN in the, well you get the picture. I had to clamp and screw it in place. I sent them templates for all three but they sure missed it on the larger one. Any way I got it ready just in time for installation on Tuesday.

This is the cabinet in place waiting for the trim carpenter to run base and crown. The painter is scheduled to come in week after next. I'll get some good shots after he is finished.

I sure hope the person who paints the walls and ceiling is as good at his/her trade as you are at yours.

I would have had that room painted first!

Great job.

Thanks guys. I have confidence in the painter. I have worked with him in the past. He actually specializes in cabinet finishes. He will disassemble and remove all hardware before starting. The homeowner hasn't decided on the color yet. I think it will be a paint/glaze though.

Mark

PS: I am starting a new project and will post some pictures and progress although it may not be as detailed as this Thread. I'll call it the horse shoe project.

You DID notice the Species he used didn't you. He picked poplar because it works nicely AND it was to be Painted.

GREAT JOB(AGAIN) THANK YOU for letting us look over your shoulder during this project.

BTW I 'built' a round BAR(90 degrees). Hope you have lots of patience! Nothing is straight except the vertical(or nearly vertical) sides(and they are curved in one direction) and the top. We get used to working with straight lines. Curves are a different animal!
A HORSESHOE! Variable radius also!!!!
