How do you attach the block to the way tubes? It appears form the picture it is held by screws into the tubes or am I missing something?
BPR
It is not attached. I guess it does appear to be but it just sits there. I only use that fixture when I want to make a very fine adjustment in table tilt.
I use that aluminum bar for a lot of things. You'll see it in a lot of my photos.

BTW Where did you obtain that nice thumbscrew?
Yes, it fits between two ribs on the under side of my main table - at least the one on the Mark V.
The table on the Crafter's Station and a spare table that I have are ribbed differently. So I know there has been at least to version of the main table.
The cyclinder is there to allow the end of the jig (the rod) to nestle into its location while at the same time not caring about what angle the table is tilted at. It just sorta rolls in place.
The thumb screws (knurled knobs) are Shopsmith - lower saw guard and an older version of router fence (I think). I liked them though and I bought several just to have.

I think you guys probably all know that I'm not about to drill holes in my way tubes. Those two holes that I put in my extra floating table were hard enough.
