Does anyone have a source for alabaster in or around the Indiana area? I can find sources on the internet in Colorado but the price to ship the stone to Indiana is prohibitive.
Also, has anyone turned Alabaster before? I have not and I need to know the process of how to polish the stone after it is turned. I was hoping to turn a lamp shade with about 10 inch diameter.
