Hello all

I'm looking for any info from Aussies on the forum. I bought my MKV in the UK a few years ago then moved to Aus.

Looking for info on parts availability etc.

Cheers

Welcome to these forums, gtseraf! I am sorry that I can knot help you, but I wanted to welcome you into the fold at any rate. :) I am pretty sure that SS has been shipping to the UK, so why don't you check with them about Australia shipping?

I live in the UK but my daughter is emigrating to Australia on the 10th of September and will be shipping furniture etc at a later date. If there is anything I can do to help as a fellow SS owner please let me know

Thanks for the responses and the offers. I appreciate them. Gives me the feeling that the SS group of people worldwide are a special group.

I've tried to contact SS about shipping, etc but have had no reply from them.

I'll keep on trying though.

I do knot know in what avenues your efforts have been going to contact Shopsmith, but perhaps this will be useful. There are International order and technical phone numbers listed, along with alternate ordering options.

Tim, that is a help but I called SS the other day and waited quite awhile. She finally came on and during the order she mentioned that they were down to two folks answering the phone! One reason I like SS is that it teaches me patience, but I wish I didn't have to learn it from HQ.

Hi gtseraf
I've been onto shopsmith, who kindly referred me to the UK agent. Having just bought a MKV I'm interested in all the goodies that are available and they are many. I've been in contact with someone who may be prepared to onship orders from the States either throught SS or Ebay. If you're still interested drop me a line.
